With a lifelong background in dance and teaching dance professionally within the Lower Mainland, Gina came to find yoga to be an entirely different medium of movement within the body. Creative, expressive, and grounding, asana and flow quickly turned into places of expansion, taking up space, and breath for her. She quickly tuned into the beauty of developing the Higher Self within moving meditation and became focused on the alignment of mind, body, spirit. Yoga is a place where Gina honours her truth and she can go fully within.

Gina received her 200 RYT in Ubud, Bali; an experience that broke her open, revitalized the nature in which she sees the world and she now seeks to help yogis in doing the same. She has received her BA, BEd, and Master of Education from UBC and also teaches Dance and Yoga in the high school setting. Gina teaches passionate classes that are bright with curiosity, those that lean into deep breath work, seek to improve alignment in the body, and are created with a strong sense of theme or Sankalpa (intention). Gina loves to connect the work we do on the mat to how we navigate our lives off the mat. She is deeply grateful for all her teachers, trainers, and gurus who have inspired her and guided her on her yoga journey thus far.

Gina is always seeking to grow, collaborate with fellow practitioners, and further acquire deeper teachings and wisdoms of the yogic practice. She is an advocate for mental health, practices meditation, and believes in continuing to do the work on the Self, for the Self, to be energetically connecting with others from the Highest Self. Gina is passionate about teaching Vinyasa, Hatha, Power, and Hot styles of yoga. She can’t wait to see you on the mat!
